Refund Policy

At The Kitchen Store, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), as well as our store-specific conditions.

Change of Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 7 business days of the delivery date, provided the item meets the following requirements:

  • The product is unused and in original condition
  • All original packaging, accessories, labels, and manuals are included
  • The item has not been damaged, altered, or installed
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Items that cannot be returned for change of mind include:

  • Clearance or sale items
  • Personal-use kitchen items that have been opened (e.g., drinkware, food-prep tools)
  • Customised or special-order items

Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer’s responsibility.

Once your return is inspected and approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Refunds do not include original shipping costs.

Faulty or Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 7 business days with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or video showing the fault or damage

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for major failure
  • A repair or replacement for minor issues
  • Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

We will advise you of the next steps based on the assessment of the fault.

Incorrect Items Received

If you receive the incorrect product, contact us within 7 business days and we will organise the correct item to be sent. We may request that the incorrect item be returned before dispatching the replacement.
